Hi, I'm Jonelle'

When I bought my first house, it was a wreck! The rooms were outdated and needed a lot of improvements. I was 19, strapped for cash, so making changes to the house myself was a necessity. As I saw my first home transform one project at a time, I felt proud of my accomplishments and “Do It Yourself” soon became a passion! After spending 15 years working full-time in Travel and Tourism and seeing some of the most beautiful homes in the world, I was ready for a change, and finally decided to pursue my love for home decorating with a career change to Interior Décor. I now a certified Interior Decorator and True Color Expert.  What I do for clients:

•   Refining clients’ décor by using their existing furnishings more effectively

•   Empowering clients by providing them with advice during our consultation

•   Involving clients in the process teaching clients how to correct mistakes

•   Respecting client’s personal design preferences instead of imposing one particular style

•   Helping clients save thousands of dollars instead of encouraging expensive purchases

I firmly believe that interior decorating should be affordable, and I know what it’s like to want an amazing home, but not have the budget to match. I love being a designer and working with clients to create beautiful and functional spaces, customized for their budget and lifestyle. I also love helping people save money by utilizing a lot of what they might already have and love. That’s why I created the Home Decorators Club – to share projects, interior decorating tips, accessorizing ideas, inspiration, and DIY’s, so you too can create the home you’ve been dreaming of. 

I’m married to Architect Richard Tannahill. When I’m not spending time designing, you’ll find me enjoying my family, entertaining friends, planning our next vacation, and daydreaming about the next home improvement project for our place (poor Richard).
