Q. How much time does a design appointment actually take?

A. consultation lasts from two to four hours per room, which allows the decorator to consult on more than one room in just one day.

Q. Can an Impressions Home Design help me decorate an empty room too?

A. We are paid for our expertise and the information we provide, therefore we frequently consult on empty rooms too (such as when clients are moving into a new home). But whenever necessary and where it is physically possible, furnishings are rearranged the day of the consultation. If oversized pieces cannot be moved, we will specify placement in the written design plan for the client to move at a later date when proper help is available. It is the client's responsibility to make arrangements for moving any heavy pieces.

Q.  How will I know what a consultation costs?

A.   We will send you a price sheet and verify the price the moment we get there.  Most of the time we charge a flat, by-the-room rate for consultations and will also shop for or with a client, charging an hourly fee.

We also accommodate full service clients and are happy to provide rates and answer questions.
