Holiday Decorating Facts

Did you know nine-in-ten Americans (90%) — and 95% of Christians — say they celebrate Christmas. And 60% of those buy real holiday trees and 30% do artificial trees.  10% do no tree at all.  Thus the need for new ideas in tree decorating.

Christmas 2020 will be different

There is no question this year we will be holding our holidays closer to home.  Less people are expected to have large gatherings too.  But reports say that people will still decorate their own homes and enjoy a new twist to their old home decor (a reason to get my free  “Top 10 Holiday Decorating Tips.” )

Use What You Have at Home

Why not change up a few things this Christmas.  Using what you have and adding a splash of something new will extend your budget and bring joy too!

  • Dress up that tired wreath you have been using on the front door with a new bow and red berries and ornaments – or add a plaque with a Christmas greeting, etc.
  • Display your antique ornaments in pretty bowls, lanterns, or hurricane vases instead of putting them on your tree. Mix in some beads, greenery, or pinecones.
  • Cut evergreens from your yard and add to your arrangements for a fresh and inexpensive decoration.
